The 07-08 school year seen many big improvements to Alpha Phi.  We initiated 34 men into the fraternity, while making the Shield & Diamond for one of the top initiation classes in the nation.    We opened up the newly rennovated basement where the Alumni Association and House Corp. started a capitol campaign raising around $200,000.  House Corp. spent $25,000+ to repair carpet, walls, and the bathroom on the 2nd floor as well as exterior repairs. We raised $1085 for the Boys & Girls Club, brought home hardware for Greek Week.  We won a Certificate of Merit through Iowa State, and that is the tip of the iceburg for all of Alpha Phi's successes and accomplishment.

For about a week in August, Chapter Advisor Jay Hinkhouse MD, House Director Alex Burge, and President Josh Deitrich went to the International Convention.  There they met up with the Director of Volunteer Services Ben Boden, Alpha Phi alumni, learned about many aspects of the Fraternity, participated in legislative sessions, as well as won some hardware.
